Code of Conduct for Dance Teachers - Really worth a look!

I found this website about the Council for Dance Education and Training. I hadn’t heard of them before but basically they are like a quality control organisation that monitors the quality of professional dance and musical theatre education and training within the UK.

They have a ‘Code of Professional Conduct and Practice for Teachers of Dance’ which is a good read!

    Thanks for the post cerys i found it really interesting how there can be so many differnt aspects to a code of conduct.
    I think possibly that many of the points made could be transfered or enhanced to apply to a personal code of conduct. What are your thoughts to this? Have you/do you already apply some of these points to your personal life?.
    I personally feel the point made about develop self-discipline and self motivation in the students can be applyed to ourselves as well to enhance ones career.
